1. TITLE

The title of the federation will be the “British White Collar Boxing Federation” (B.W.C.B.F.)

2. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
• To promote the sport of recreational boxing, training and competition.
• To promote and regulate codes of safety within the sport and practice of ‘White Collar Boxing.
• To co-operate with other sporting bodies with similar aims.
• To oversee and regulate affiliate clubs, and ensure correct procedures of health and safety are adhered to.
• To oversee and regulate White Collar Boxing promotional events, and ensure correct procedures of health and safety are adhered to.
• To implement and monitor a three stage instructor training program, thereby ensuring high standards of tuition are maintained, and a minimum level of industry proficiency.
• To obtain, collect and administer money and funds for the undertaking of the above purposes.

3. MEMBERSHIP
• Membership will be open to all persons who subscribe to the “Purposes and Objectives” as outlined above, and who shall abide by the constitution.
• Membership will be contingent on persons completing a membership application form and paying relevant subscription fee as determined by the Annual General Meeting of the club members.
• A member or group of members may be asked to resign or have application or renewal refused or be dealt with in such a manner as may be determined by theCommittee.

4. REGISTER.
• A central register of current membership, along with a grading system, shallbe kept by the committee.

5. OFFICERS.
• The Officers of the club shall be as follows:
President Non-Executive Officer (Honorary position)
Chairperson } Executive Officer
Secretary } Executive Officer
Treasurer } Executive Officer

6. ELECTION OF OFFICERS.
• All Officers shall be elected at the annual General Meeting of the Federation, from and by, the full Members of the Federation.
• All Officers are elected for a period of one year, but may be re-elected to the same office or another office the following year.

7. GENERAL MEETINGS.
• A General Committee comprising of the Executive Officers of the Federation shall control the affairs of the Federation.
• The General Committee shall meet at agreed intervals and not less than twice per year. It may appoint sub-committees.

8. GENERAL COMMITTEE DUTIES:
• To control the affairs of the Federation on behalf of the Members.
• To keep accurate accounts of the finances of the Federation through the Treasurer. These should be available for reasonable inspection by Members and should be audited before every Annual General Meeting.
• The Federation shall maintain a bank current account and the following Officers shall be authorised to sign Federation cheques: two from the Chairperson; Treasurer and Secretary.
• To co-opt additional members of the Committee as the Committee feels this is necessary. Co-opted members shall not be entitled to a vote on the Committee, unless they have been co-opted to replace a member who has died or has resigned. They shall hold office until the next AGM.
• To make decisions on the basis of a simple majority vote. In the case of equal votes, the Chairperson shall be entitled to an additional casting vote.9. ACCREDITED INSTRUCTORS.
• All Federation instructors will have a minimum of Stage 1 B.W.C.B.F qualification before being permitted to teach boxing skills.
• Exemptions from the above will be at the discretion of the Executive committee, and will be assessed on equivalent industry qualifications and experience.

10. MEMBER GRADINGS
• A system of grading will be implemented which will monitor all Federation members in terms of weight, age, ability and experience. This will ensure correct matchmaking and promote safe and fair competition.

11. DISSOLUTION
• A motion to dissolve the Federation may only be made at an Extraordinary General Meeting called for the purpose and to succeed shall require the approval of at least two-thirds of the members present and entitled to vote.
• In the event of dissolution, any surplus funds property or assets shall be disposed of for charitable purposes subject to the approval of any grant-aiding authorities concerned.

12. ALTERATIONS
• These rules of the Constitution and Order of Reference may not be altered in effect except by a majority of two-thirds of the members present and voting at a General Meeting.
